Adult Cooking Class- Chicken Hibachi

Saturday, January 31, 4-7 PM

Are you trying to eat out less? Get more bang for your (grocery) buck? Well, this is the class for you!

We will be discussing copycat restaurant recipes (and how to tweak them), how to use your pantry and freezer to help cut cost and ways to avoid some common pitfalls that have you hitting the drive thru......despite your best intentions

Then you will be preparing a copycat hibachi meal to enjoy! Don't worry, there will be a demonstration and coaching along the way so come join us NO MATTER YOUR SKILL LEVEL!

Due to the space/equipment needed for prep work and cooking, spots are VERY limited.

Couples-/friend pairs are great for this class! That means you sharer the prep space AND the prep jobs bur both get a full meal and go home with a copy of all of the recipes.

Dinner will be what my family calls Mako Yaki, translation = mock Tako Yaki . Thats salad with ginger dressing, soup, hibachi chicken with rice and veggies, and OF COURSE the yum-yum sauce! Wash it all down with unlimited sweet tea or lemonade. And, to-go boxes will be available for any leftovers or in case you want to share your delicious meal!

Afternoon Tea 10:00-1:00/ High Tea 4:00-6:00

Afternoon Tea includes a charcuTEArie cup, a plated selection of finger sandwiches and such and a tiered dessert tray. A selection of tea bags will be provided, along with hot water, so that you can choose the tea you prefer. If hot tea isn't really your "cup of tea", no worries, iced tea and water are available as well.
*The iced tea, unless specified ahead, is sweet.
